Two amazing Masterclasses today from Technical Sgt. Leo Kim ( ), a clarinetist from the United States Air Force, and internationally acclaimed clarinetist Milan Řeřicha ( .clarinet ). Today, the clarinet studio traveled to the Salemtowne Rehabilitation Center to give a brief performance of two clarinet quartets and two clarinet octets as their last performance of the semester. Go Pickles!!

Last night, for the second concert of the Fall 2025 UNCSA Chamber Festival, Dr. Espina and our TA Blaine Edwards got to perform with guest artist and cellist Caroline Stinson ( ). They performed the Weber Clarinet Quintet in Bb Major, Op. 34 and Introduction and Allegro for Harp, Flute, Clarinet, and String Quartet by Maurice Ravel. The two of them delivered amazing performances. Go Pickles!!

Last night three of our clarinetists performed in the first concert of the Fall 2025 UNCSA Chamber Music Festival. The pieces performed were Suite Op. 157B for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano by Darius Milhaud, Zwei Konzertstücke Op. 114 by Felix Mendelssohn, and Quintet for Piano a Woodwinds in Eb Major, K452 by Mozart. Alone with them was guest artists and bassoonist Marcelo Padilla ( ). Amazing performances from all three of our clarinetists. Go Pickles!!
