I Did It Papa😫💜
I secured my First Job on my 17th Birthday at Abbotswood at Irving Park. I wanted to be there so badly I pushed my bday pool outing back so I can go interview and fill out paperwork twice. I was a Dining Server for 3 years. Yes I left but I always found my way back and I would do anything to get back in there💜I’ve worked Retail, Customer Service, and Warehouse jobs but none of them I managed to stay it didn’t feel like where I wanted to be. 17 year old me couldn’t see herself doing half of the tasks I’ve been assigned these last 6 months. But as I sat in class all I could wonder was “Did my Papa receive the best care?, Did his nurses pay attention to what he liked and disliked? Did they take their time? Did they listen to him?” Well Papa I hope I made you proud! YA BABY A CNA🥳🥳
