Greetings, Giraffe Nation. This is Kerrie Douglas, Assistant Principal of Jesse Wharton Elementary School.
Thank you to everyone who brought such joy and encouragement to our students during the 100‑Meter Dash. Your energy made the event shine, and I want to congratulate our grade‑level winners for their hard work and heart.
We extend a big thank‑you to our 5th grade teachers and chaperones for creating a memorable Camp Hanes experience, as well as to everyone who supported the K–1 field trip to Whitaker Farms. Your commitment ensures our students continue to learn, explore, and grow beyond the classroom.
As we shift into this week, we are intentionally slowing the pace so teachers can focus deeply on preparing students for End‑of‑Grade assessments. This steady, supportive environment helps students feel grounded and confident as they enter the final stretch of the year.
We also celebrate our outstanding Tower Wheel Spinners. Your character, effort, and consistency continue to shine—you truly TOWER ABOVE.
