A huge thank you to Homeland Creamery for generously donating all the milk for our 6th graders’ ice cream lab yesterday! Students had a blast learning how ice cream is made while exploring key science concepts like solutions, mixtures, saturation points, melting point, freezing point, and physical changes.

| This is a reminder that all GCS schools and offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Have a safe long weekend and we will see you back in school on Tuesday.

| Good afternoon, families. Due to the threat of strong winds beyond what is safe for school bus travel, GCS will be closed to students on Monday, March 16. Meals will be available at school locations at 9 a.m. and noon. Thank you and please be safe.

New Cell Phone Policy starting Monday, March 16! 📱🚫
Under this new policy, Southern Guilford Middle School students will not be permitted to use cell phones at any time during the school day, including in the hallways and during lunch. All phones must be set to silent and kept out of sight inside backpacks at all times.
