From NGFS to NPR!🎙️

NGFS alum and neuroscientist Adam Green is bringing his research on AI and creativity to NPR’s On Point tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26.

Adam is the lab director at Georgetown’s Laboratory for Relational Cognition, where he studies human creativity and the neuroscience behind our best ideas.

Meet NGFS alumna Sarah Sheets ’22, founder of Inspiria Digital Creations LLC! ✨

Sarah’s photography and videography business captures meaningful moments for individuals, families, pets, and equestrian clients. With her creative lens, and passion for capturing the moment, Sarah helps clients preserve memories in beautiful, authentic ways.

Inspiria Digital Creations LLC’s signature location is Evergreen Hills Equestrian Center in Reidsville, NC: a private, scenic horse farm offering beautiful pastures, wooded trails, and unique backdrops for portraits, pets, and equestrian sessions.

We’re excited to celebrate Sarah’s entrepreneurial journey and the creativity she brings to the NGFS community! 🧡🐻

We love seeing our alumni doing amazing things!

Tonight, Eli Fribush (Alum 8th) is the featured performer at Sunset Sessions ~ Live Music By The Fire Pit, hosted by Grandover Resort. Eli attended New Garden Friends School from Sunrise through Middle School, and many faculty, staff, and community members remember him fondly from his years at NGFS.

Free live music this Saturday!!

The Goodbye Horses will be performing at Oden Brewing Company on April 25 from 3–6PM (set time begins around 4:30PM).

The band’s latest set features new music and a new addition to the lineup, with NGFS alum Jackson Buchanan joining on guitar. The show also includes an opening performance by singer-songwriter and poet Randolph Thomas.

Family-friendly atmosphere, great live music, and a food truck on site. Stop by if you’re in the area!
