🎓✨ Celebrating Our AmeriCorps Graduates! ✨🎓

Please join us in congratulating three outstanding AmeriCorps Volunteers on their college graduations! Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving others have made a lasting impact on our communities, and we are excited to celebrate this important milestone with them.

🌟 Zeinab Harouna Amadou graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) with a double major in International and Global Studies and Economics, along with a minor in French.

🌟 Faith Marindich graduated from UNCG with dual majors in Political Science and International and Global Studies, and a minor in Forced Migration and Resettlement Studies.

🌟 Kianna Harrison graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences, concentrating in Human Nutrition.

We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished, both in their academic journeys and through their service as AmeriCorps Volunteers. Your passion, perseverance, and dedication to making a difference inspire us all.

This past Saturday, our community came together at Hester Park to celebrate World Refugee Day—honoring the strength, resilience, and contributions of refugees in Greensboro and beyond.

From shared meals and music to laughter, storytelling and connection, the day was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when we show up for one another. Families, neighbors, and community partners filled the park with joy, creating a space where everyone felt seen, welcomed, and celebrated.

At CNNC, we are proud to stand alongside our refugee and immigrant neighbors—not just on World Refugee Day, but every day—as we work toward a more inclusive and supportive community for all.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, and made the celebration so special. 💛
