Kathryn Rodosky has been a saddle seat riding instructor for 15 years. She has her bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville in Sport Administration and a minor in Communications. As a child, this sport did not come naturally to me. Perseverance, hard work, commitment and time developed my skills as a rider. My skills as an instructor have been developed through those experiences as a child and have been further developed with continuous education during the past 15 years. Before moving to North Carolina in 2008, I was the head instructor at a large facility in Louisville, Kentucky where I taught over 100 lessons a week, trained horses for specific divisions and created innovative clinics and camps. My road has been fostered and matured with the assistance of many other great minds in the American Saddlebred industry. Although Landon Farm has just opened it's doors, my background and education is 15 years in the making. This background includes Worlds and National Champions, performance, equitation, academy and pleasure riders. How Landon Farm was named...
LF is named after Kathryn's sidekick, Landon. Landon is a red heeler dog that she bought two weeks after she began my teaching career. He is not a regular dog and he does not live a regular life (or at least he thinks so!) Whether Kathryn is teaching a lesson or traveling to a show across the country, Landon is there.

What a fun and productive Labor Day at the barn.

So many great lessons and great rides today with a super dedicated group!

Kendal and “Clint” decided to try something new with riding backwards. I was smiling the entire time but the commentary in the video was even more funny!

The 5 Gaited Unicorn you are searching for!

He’s wonderful at ALL 5 Gaits! He will take care of a novice or timid rider OR put a seasoned rider on him and cut loose.

“Cheetos” trots strong and racks like the wind! He also CANTERS IN A TEA CUP and walks all day.

He has a giant show record in 5 gaited pleasure and 5 gaited country pleasure. He also braces easily and looks sporty with his tail up.

Cheetos is 15.2 hands but is stocky like a linebacker and sets up BIG (high headed). He can easily carry a larger rider and make a beautiful picture.

Pm for price. There isn’t another gated horse with his show record, ability to compete on any level and priced like this…

This mare can do any job you want and will stay happy doing it. She has a lovely walk, trot and BEAUTIFUL canter.

“Honey” is 15.2 hands and very BUILT so she can comfortably carry larger adults or tiny tots.

Honey has done leadline with 5 yr olds. She can teach lessons in a work or full bridle. She will wear any work or full bridle you want. She is currently flat shod. She gets turned out with other horses and comes in to work or teach. However, she will adapt to less turn out easily if needed.

Honey loves people and attention.
