Thanks for the "shout out" about Owls on the Run (OOTR) GCS! Did you know that the teachers at Sternberger Elementary receive ZERO DOLLARS from federal, state, or local funding for classroom supplies?

We are so fortunate to have such a generous community!

We need a few more volunteers! - Did you ever dream of being a hall monitor but never got the chance? Me either, but we still need your help. Guilford County is conducting the Municipal General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Sternberger Swing School is a polling location and we need volunteers to make sure voters stay in voting areas. Shifts are only an hour and we're looking for 1-2 volunteers per shift. Volunteers should enter the school through the main front entrance and check in at the office at least 5 minutes before their shift starts. All volunteers must be currently registered with Guilford County Schools. Visit www.gcsvolunteers.com to establish or update your volunteer account.
