Prekology is a State Licensed Family childcare program serving children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age. We also offer afterschool & drop in care. Prekology believes in a teacher/child led literacy focused curriculum in a small setting in order to provide a more individualized instruction. We believe that every child learns differently and at their own pace and we are here to accommodate every learnin

g style. Although Prekology is an Early Education program, it is more structured than most preschool programs. Children in our program learn through play but we also integrate and work on kindergarten preparation. Our classroom is stimulating and well equipped with age appropriate and abundant materials. We have a creative art center, block area, fine motor play, reading and a math/science center. We have a large fenced in play area that allows for hours of fun that helps develop every childs gross motor skills.

Been loving this week celebrating my favorite children’s author and illustrator Eric Carle!! 📚💛 We’ve been reading all of his books(I have so many I can’t even for them all on my display shelf), singing his songs and playing all the games. Who knew Eric Carle had so many fun learning games for children to do??!! I DID 🙋🏽‍♀️ We aren’t done yet…more to come for next week! 🐛🐻

Making a shift from my “professional world” post to a “personal world” post for a change. She deserves that. She deserves ALL the things…ALL the praise! She’s the best to ever do it, my Mom! Happy 77th birthday, Mommy🎉 I am who I am because of you and I couldn’t be more proud! We’ve had a great week spending time with her at the beach, nonstop laughs and shenanigans, fighting this heat and definitely celebrating her SO BIG today.
