This month we are recognizing students who exhibit Creativity - יצירתיות - ye’tzi-rah-tee-yut!

Ms. Amos shared “Maya has really grown in her creative problem-solving this year! When she comes across a particularly challenging math problem, she uses increasingly more flexible thinking to try a few strategies to figure it out. Her creativity and problem-solving also served her well on her MAP test, where she was really able to demonstrate what she has learned!”

What a colorful day at B’nai Shalom! 🌈✨

Lag B’Omer / Field Day is a beloved tradition our whole school participates in as we near the end of another wonder year! From color runs, games, inflatables, snow cones, water activities, and unforgettable memories with friends and teachers — Tuesday was filled with nonstop fun, laughter, and LOTS of color. 🌈

Parents, we can only imagine what the bath water looked like that night… 😂🛁

Upper School students from our Service Learning class presented their PhotoVoice projects at the Greensboro Community Sustainability Council Meeting Monday night! Through thoughtful research and field work, meaningful discussion, and creative iMovie presentations, students shared what they learned throughout the year and highlighted how young voices can inspire awareness, conversation, and positive change surrounding sustainability. 🌱🌍♻️

We are so proud of our students for using their voices to engage with real-world issues and represent our school community so thoughtfully. Teaching students about sustainability from a young age helps empower the next generation to care for and positively impact the world around them. 🏞️🪴

Better late than never! 🎉 Somehow our Mensch of the Week last week only had the spotlight on Instagram, so we’re making sure Facebook gets the celebration too! 💙
