Reedy Fork serves students in PreK - Fifth Grade. Every Child. Every Chance. Every Day. Reedy Fork Elementary is located in Greensboro, North Carolina and was built in 2007 as a Green school of sustainable design. We use half of the electricity of other schools in the Guilford County School System by using lots of natural lighting, solar electricity, storm water treatment and rain water harvesting
. Our lights are made to dim when the natural lighting is bright and the thick brick walls prevent heat from escaping in the winter and reduce heat gain in the warmer months. Our walls and roof use lots of insulation and the roof's reflective material keeps the school cool during the warm months. Our principal is Jeanelle Lindsay and the Assistant Principal Vicky Fowler. We have around 469 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Our school mascot is an owl, Rudy the Ranger, and our school colors are blue and green. Our Opportunities for Students
