Those Nc Afterschool Programs (a lot of them include tennis instruction!) can take a kid one day to the moon & back! 🎾

Our NC CAP team is explored career connections to the aerospace industry at today with STEM Next Opportunity Fund and the 50 State Afterschool Network. We’ve even heard from NASA professionals and astronauts about the experiences and mentors that influenced their journey -- like their afterschool programs!

Jake Barrow and Alistair Dameron will each receive a $1,000 scholarship, courtesy of the GWTA and the families of Carl A. Cramer and Judi Koppenhafer! Both will also be attending UNC - Chapel Hill in the fall where we know they will continue to shine!

Jackie, thank you for traveling from Charlotte to make this meaningful opportunity available to the Grimsley High School Men’s Tennis Team and sharing your story & words of wisdom.
