To preschool or NOT to preschool— is a common question in households. Of course I say “YES !!!!! to Preschool!” Why?

Preschool offers a foundation for a child that prepares them for grade school. It is KEY for the success they will find in the future.

This simple picture here is a perfect example of what preschool teaches. It teaches basics. It teaches {FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS}.

Standing in line. One behind the other. Not jumping in front of someone. Waiting your turn. Patience. Respecting others. Listening to your teacher.

Following directions is HUGE! It’s often overlooked but so, so important for success in life. I start this out slowly in my program so that children can understand the basics.

Standing in line, one behind the other to go outside. You think as an adult this is simple, right? NO ! And NO! This is very hard for young children to do. They naturally want to push and be first to go outside. Jump in front of a friend.
This skill (following directions) not only prepares them for success in the future in school, but it also helps at home! That’s a win-win, right?! 👌🏽

Side note: I am so proud of my kiddos! They’ve got this👊🏽
