From kindergarten hallways to graduation caps and gowns… the Northern Guilford High School Graduation Walks are such a special reminder of how far these seniors have come. πŸ’œπŸ–€

Watching our Nighthawks return to the elementary schools where their journeys began at Summerfield Elementary, Northern Elementary & McNair Elementary, our seniors were greeted with cheers, high fives, hugs, and smiling teachers β€” is a full circle moment filled with pride, memories, and inspiration for the next generation.

Today we celebrate not only the accomplishments of the Class of 2026, but also the friendships, hard work, and growth that brought them here. Once little learners walking these halls… now graduates ready to take on the world!

Health Science students from Ragsdale High School Guilford County Schools partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to promote Mental Health Awareness Month through student-created projects and peer education activities during lunch. Students shared mental health resources, coping strategies, and awareness materials with fellow students to encourage open conversations and reduce stigma surrounding mental health. Students also had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Maggie Bull, who discussed teen mental health, healthy coping skills, and the importance of seeking support when needed.

πŸ’»Future Coders in action!

Our Northern Guilford High School Computer Science students had an amazing time working with local Girl Scouts on coding basics and problem-solving skills. From learning about algorithms and loops to creating fun interactive activities, these students showed what teamwork, creativity, and leadership are all about.

Students also showed off some of their creative apps they developed in the classroom. Everyone had a great time learning the language of Code. A huge thank you to our student mentors for sharing their knowledge and passion for computer science! πŸ’šπŸͺ✨
