Decision Day for the SEO Scholars NC Class of 2026 was last Saturday - and those smiles say it all! Our scholars never gave up on themselves or each other and its been an honor to walk alongside them as they navigated the road to a bright future!

Tomorrow is graduation day - but we will stay in touch with scholars over the next 4 years to make sure they have the support they need to earn their degrees. Oh the places they will go...

What happens when a community thinks outside the box about education? The incredible TOYOTA Experience Lab at Asheboro City Schools Global Innovation Lab is one example! Today was the official ribbon-cutting for the Lab and it was exciting to see so many community partners come together to celebrate.

Equipped with innovative technology and cutting-edge curriculum, the Lab is designed to ignite student learning and interest in the high-demand jobs of the future. shift_ed played a key role in designing the lab and will provide professional development to ACS educators this summer.

Students at North Asheboro Middle School are diving into their second round of STEM Clubs powered by , and the creativity is already building! 🏡✨

With the support of shift_ed, teachers and students are exploring innovation firsthand as they research, design, and construct their very own Tiny Houses. From big ideas to small-scale builds, these students are turning imagination into reality while developing critical STEM skills for the future.

We can’t wait to see what they create next!

Congratulations to Reading Connections for the grand opening of the Ready for Work Closet!

This initiative helps students in workforce development as they complete their job and career training programs and prepare for interviews and job fairs. Through the Closet, students receive free, professional clothing to help them present themselves with confidence and succeed in the hiring process. We were honored to be a part of this grand opening!
