Military Ph.D. Student Plans to Work in Chemical Weapons Defense - The College of Arts & Sciences Garett Barto is not your traditional college student. On top of managing the demanding schedule of a PhD student in UNCG’s Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, he also currently serves as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves.

We had amazing weather for the Annual Veteran and Family Day at the Lake. Thanks to the awesome UNCG Recreation & Wellness staff for being so accommodating!
