| Summer meals will return to GCS starting on June 15!☀️🥪

Families have two options:

🍎Pick up seven days worth of breakfasts and lunch once a week at one of four meals-to-go sites; or
🍎Dine in for breakfast and lunch daily at any of our 13 summer meal distribution sites.

Families must register for the meals-to-go option and can not visit a meals-to-go and dine-in site during the same week.

Our teachers and staff are the total rock legends, and we gave them the VIP treatment this week 🎉. Monday's Italian cuisine from Marios pizza was just the opening act, Tuesday's succulents brought the zen, Wednesday's charcuterie was a taste sensation, Thursday's breakfast from New Garden Bagels and surprise donuts was sheer brilliance, and the Friday candy bar was the sweet finale. Huge props to the behind-the-scenes volunteers who pulled it all off. Teachers are everyday superheroes who deserve a trophy, or at the very least, a lifetime supply of caffeine, for all the incredible stuff they do for our kids!

Teacher Appreciation Week is in full swing and we're beyond excited to be showing our love to our staff with a pasta- and pie-filled surprise from Mario's - because what's better than some good Italian cooking? This week, we recognized Ms. Gomez and Mr. Zimmerman during Assistant Principal Week. Mr. Zimmerman's celebration extended further as he accompanied the 8th-grade class on their field trip to Atlanta 🙃, a testament to his dedication. We appreciate their tireless efforts in supporting our school community, comprising students and staff, both within and beyond the classroom. 💙
