GSO Compassion Mission The GSO Compassion Mission is a sustainable community home for education and growth within Greensboro, North Carolina.

The GSO Compassion Mission brings wholeness and self-sufficiency to the greater Greensboro community by creating an educational and sustainable home environment for all those who need it. We provide classes for--and access to--education, spirituality, creativity and sustainability for food, environment and self. These aspects are all pieces to the very intricate puzzle that is the human being as a

whole. We aim to provide citizens from the greater Greensboro area with the tools to not only build and improve upon their inner and outer selves but their spaces and environments as well. The GSO Compassion Mission aims to be the first step to making Greensboro a better and more sustainable place to live, one whole person at a time.

...I found a potential property for The GSO Compassion Mission, and it's located in Greensboro (thank goodness). It's certainly something to hang a dream on for sure. Time to bust out the contacts, schematics, and spreadsheets.

The GSO Compassion Mission needs a home. A foundation. At first I figured it was Greensboro because it's called The GSO Compassion Mission. Then I figured High Point because of the seeming need and all with Title I schools. Now I'm highly considering not only the possibility of an earthship construction, but a location out of state in an area of even greater need. We'll see where this goes.

1) collaborating with the Center for Community Engaged Design, FINALLY! :)
2) designing what will be a beautiful, spiritual, multicultural remembrance tree sculpture
3) hoping to recruit some folks to get this show on the road in the next few months!
