Our ✨Weekly Wow✨ staff shoutout goes to Christina Galvin, EC Teacher at Bluford Elementary School, for her awesome use of assistive technology and visuals to support written expression. Christina thoughtfully integrates technology tools alongside hands‑on visual supports to help students understand sentence structure, organize their ideas, and write with greater confidence. Her creative approach makes writing more accessible and fun!

Tech Tip Tuesday!
Markup is an ipad feature that allows you to draw or add text on screenshots and photos. This feature can be used to complete an image of a worksheet digitally.
How to:
1. Go to Photos and select the photo you want.
2. Tap Edit, then tap the Markup button
3. Tap the Add button to add text, shapes, and more. (Can also use speech to text.)
4. Tap Done, then tap Done again.

These supports provide clarity, structure, and access for students, helping them feel confident, engaged, and supported in their learning.
Fun Friday! 🎉 Huge thank you to Northern Guilford High School teacher Monica Clendenin and her Drafting II students for designing and assembling access switches. These switches provide access to learning and play for GCS students with accessibility needs.
