Tonight, we are incredibly GPA Proud of our former student, Jackie Shuff, who graduated from Piedmont Classical High School as the Valedictorian of her class!

During her valedictorian speech, Jackie shared how the staff at GPA played a major role in shaping, encouraging, and influencing her academic success and achievement. Hearing her reflect on the impact of her GPA family was truly a proud and full circle moment for our school community.

Jackie will now attend North Carolina State University where she will major in Cyber Security on a full ride scholarship! Your GPA family is beyond proud of you and all that you have and will accomplish.

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-Part B, Public Law 108.446) Project is presently being amended. The Project describes the special education programs that Guilford Preparatory Academy proposes for Federal funding for the 2026-2027 School Year. Interested persons are encouraged to review amendments to the Project and make comments concerning the implementation of special education under this Federal Program. All comments will be considered prior to submission of the amended Project to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in Raleigh, North Carolina. The IDEA-Part B Project is open to the public for review and comments on May 28,2026 and May 29, 2026 in the office of Annette Lewis and Robin Bateson located at 2240 East Cone Boulevard, Greensboro, NC 27405.

We proudly celebrate two exceptional educators, Mrs. Wade and Mr. Henry, on earning their Master’s Degrees in Education!

Balancing the demands of education while pursuing an advanced degree requires sacrifice, discipline, perseverance, and an incredible commitment to the profession. Their accomplishment is not only personal, but also an investment in every student, family, and colleague they impact through their leadership and expertise.

Our students are fortunate to learn from educators who model the importance of hard work, continuous improvement, and lifelong learning. The example they set sends a powerful message: growth never stops, and excellence is always worth pursuing.

We are beyond proud of them both and excited to see the continued impact they will make in and beyond the classroom. Congratulations again, Mrs. Wade and Mr. Henry!
