The School of Health and Human Sciences was honored to be a part of these discussions focusing on Asian American communities of refugee and immigrant origin in NC. We're glad we had so many notable professors, alumni and grad students in so many fields, including UNCG Public Health Education and Department of Social Work and Gerontology at UNCG, who were able to join these impactful discussions in the community!

A powerful partnership between UNC Greensboro and the Montagnard Association of North Carolina Inc. is helping address critical health disparities in Greensboro’s Montagnard community.
Through the Montagnard/Asian Community Disparities Research Network, UNCG researchers are working alongside community leaders to tackle challenges like high blood pressure, food insecurity, and mental health.
