🛑STOP HITTING IT FAT!🛑 If you struggle shifting your pressure into your lead side on the downswing, then the “Step & Swing” drill is great way to feel correct pressure shift. I learned this drill from during my years in TX. As your backswing gets to lead arm parallel to ground, step with your lead foot and try to put your spikes down in the normal setup position. This will help you to recenter your pressure at the top of the swing and shift pressure forward in the downswing. Moving your low point of the swing forward to help achieve ball first contact.

Do you struggle with your lower body motion in the backswing? Watch this drill video to learn how you can build a better golf swing AT HOME!
Sick and tired of your lack of rotation causing hooks and blocks? Try this drill to get your body rotating more effectively in the downswing.
The “Safety Zone” | Skill Series | Putting Speed Control | Let’s get started:
•
Place a club or alignment stick 18” behind the hole. Your “Safety Zone” is between the front edge of the hole and the alignment stick. Your ball must finish inside the safety zone.
•
Place tees at 10’, 20’, and 30’. You will hit one putt at a time from each distance. Start at the 10’ putt, if you finish in the safety zone move back to 20’, 30’ and then back down the ladder to 20’ and finish with the 10’ putt.
•
If you miss the safety zone with any putt start climbing the ladder again at the 10’ putt.
•
Speed control putting is a key element in learning how to read greens and avoid 3-putts.

Had the pleasure of working with while I was down on Friday. Always good to keep learning as a coach, and it’s better when your instructor is a good friend. David knows his stuff and helped me understand my tendencies. He explains the changes we made below better than I can:

Great work from my good friend and former colleague working through an aiming an stroke bias this morning in the lab.
Right Aim + Pull = functional start lines on straight putts but the pull increased on RtoL and LtoR which was effecting speed and read.
Changing the visual cues away from the line on the putter to a more relative perpendicular reference and taking away the line helped to square up body alignments and perception of square.
With the Introduction of square alignments and aim the pull bias reduced to almost 0 via an external reference of a left gate.
🏆Congrats on your win today 🏆

Excited about adding to my instruction in the future with my clients. This will be an important tool added to training with clients of all ages. Using the ropes was a great visual of how to apply speed with proper body motion. Thanks again for all your help .young54
If you struggle with your trail shoulder rotating internally in transition, then putting a ball between your arms can help. Place the ball just below your elbow joints. Feel your trail elbow squeezing the ball in transition to move towards external with your trail arm. “SQUEEZE IT” to watch your downswing improve and your scores drop!
Happy National Left-Hander’s Day to my favorite LH golfer! Already has more speed than his old man. Love you, Witt!
Happy National Left-Hander’s Day to my favorite Lefty golfer in the world! Already has more speed than his old man. Love you, Witt!
US Am prep with . Thanks for hosting us today. Trent working on a better load onto trail leg early in backswing. Also getting Trent more rotation in hips in backswing to allow him to rotate freely in downswing. Time to eat son!
Did someone say 💣s? Great day of work with working on technique to help gain a few mph in CHS. He’s only been training for Long Drive for a few months and topped 150mph clubhead speed today!
