Greetings, Families applying for the 2022-2023 NC Pre-K School Year! We have made some updates to the NC Pre-K application for the upcoming year. The updated version has been posted on our website. Our application for the 2021-2022 School Year will go live on our website, January 5th after our Facebook Live event. Mark your calendars!

Attention Parents! Here is our NC Pre-K Update as of August 10th:

Families being offered placement at Guilford County Schools, should have received an email from GCS for their child, stating that they are being offered placement, including their site information or if they are being placed on the waitlist. If you haven’t received an email, please email Brenda Mathis, NC Pre-K Director at: [email protected].

If you would like to change your choices to another site, please notify Brenda as well. NC Pre-K for most sites will begin September 1, 2020. Families still have the option for remote learning with any site, or you can choose in-person learning with most private sites. Please note that Guilford County Schools will do remote learning for 9 weeks. Guilford Child Development will do remote learning for 5 weeks.

We are now accepting applications for the NC Pre-Kindergarten 2020-2021 school year. Click on the link below to complete the application process.

NC Pre-K (Eligible 4-Year-Olds) - Guilford County Partnership for Children The NC Pre-K program is a free pre-kindergarten program for children whose families meet eligibility requirements. There are 2000 open slots for children.
