We're back with a Major Monday with Ashley!
"Hey guys! My name is Ashley Ventura Salmeron. I am a first year student majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Spanish and a minor in Asian Studies. I am currently in the Teaching Fellows Program which I love so much and is one of the biggest reasons I chose UNCG, so if you want to be a future teacher I highly recommend applying! I am choosing to study education because it’s my dream to be a teacher but I would love to be an international teacher. I'm glad I chose UNCG! I'm very happy here and thankful for all the opportunities I have been given!"

Fellows bonding event! This past weekend we separated into our cohorts to take on these escape rooms. Shoutout to our 3rd years for only needing about half their time to escape!!!

A few of our junior fellows are taking part of the Gold leadership challenge and is partnering with Hope Academy GSO to do a book bag and supplies drive for their 8th grade class. The drive will take place during the UNCG men’s and women’s basketball games the first week of February and will be taking donation until the games. Please come and support at the games or give a small donation.

Happy Fellows Tuesday! This semester our Fellows took part in the bronze and silver levels of OLCE's Leadership challenge. This past Thursday and Friday our fellows had the opportunity to take these EFMS students on tours of our beautiful campus!! 💙💛

Chloe, Jill, Anna, LeeAnn, and Macy were among many of the Fellows who attended the International Social to welcome Fulbright Teachers to UNCG from 20 different countries. The two groups of Fellows will have the opportunity to learn from each other over the next month.
