Affinity Jiu Jitsu

At Affinity Jiu Jitsu we want you to come as you are! We don’t want an expensive uniform to be what stops anyone from participating. So we recommend very basic activewear. Items you most likely already own.

(Eventually we will have a Gi class that parents can purchase what’s in their budget and not required to purchase a branded one.)

Above has our class schedule and class ages and pricing. The classes will be half Jiu Jitsu and Half Tumble. Kids will be exposed to marital arts and some fundemtal gymnastics skills during our classes. Please reach out anytime if you have any questions at all!

Coach Richard has had a passion for being on a team since he was a child! He loved the camaraderie and working together to accomplish a goal! When he joined the wrestling team his passion grew significantly! Not only because this is a team sport, but you also had to do so much personal growth. The discipline and lessons he learned in this process were invaluable to him. As an adult, Jiu Jitsu brought this passion back, but in an even bigger way! The sport brought him to life in a way he couldn’t believe, and he wanted to share this with as many as he could! Being a coach, and a mentor, became a dream of his. This is because coaches throughout his life had played such a significant role, especially in grappling. Helping to teach kids confidence and life skills through this art is truly a privilege!

We are so excited to announce we are officially starting clinics this Summer 2026 @ Infinite Dance in Greensboro! This has been a long time coming, a dream that has been a part of our hearts for many years and we are so excited for our partnership with Infinite Dance to make this a reality! We are so passionate about helping people learn, grow and have fun through the art of jiu jitsu! Our clinics will be open initially to ages 4-10, but we will be expanding to all ages in the fall.
