It's still planting season in North Carolina, so we are featuring images of planting from our NFA collection! The NFA, active from 1935 to 1965, promoted vocational agriculture education for young African American males in Southern secondary public schools. This collection offers a powerful glimpse into the NFA's legacy, spanning from the early 20th century through the civil rights era.
