Our first and second year students had the opportunity to attend NCMGA!🧬 The North Carolina Medical Association biannual meeting was a great opportunity for education, and students got to participate in a collaborative environment of practitioners, students, and researchers.

The UNCG Genetic Counseling Program is excited to host the GeneConnect Team from Cone Precision Health to share information about their community health research program offering genetic screening, and provide insight about genetics, the role of population screening and overall health implications.

They wrote almost 5,500 words for their paper “Genetic Counselors as Research Participants: Longitudinal Evidence of Declining Response Rates” — coming to your favorite journal soon!
