🌟Sometimes I get to do a little more for my goal-setting clients if needed🙌🏻
For example, my mom (yes, I even work for my mom😉) has had the goal of getting her new fence cleaned and stained before summer. But a fall and broken arm later, it’s simply not possible for her right now. But that means I get to help! If you have a goal you not only need help planning out, but want some in-person assistance beginning, I’m always down! (Also, swipe to see the vibes I had today as I sanded our fence!)

We posted these in a group a couple weeks ago, but now we wanna dissect them a little more🙃 Sooooo you want to set a goal? Great!! One of the first questions you can and should be asking is “What do you want to accomplish?”

Do you want to paint your house? Run a 5k? Gain team members for your business? Launch a new business? Search for a new job? The list is endless!
🧡
And as you ask yourself what you want to accomplish, don’t be afraid to list out 2-3 of your top ideas. You can narrow them later if needed. And consider your “why”…why are THESE specific things on your list, and how do you think it will feel once they are achieved?

If you can, take even just 30 minutes and see if you can jot some ideas down to help streamline and clarify your thoughts🙏🏻

Ever feel overwhelmed, like a deer-in-the-headlights?🙋🏼♀️ You. Are. Not. Alone🫶🏻.
One of my favorite reminders is “Stop. Breathe. Pray. Go.”
When the scaries get you and you’re not quite sure how to get out of the hole you feel like you dropped in…physically stop moving. Take 10 deep breaths (yes, for real). Pray, even if it’s a simple “God, help me.” And then take one SMALL step forward, physically or literally. Keep walking, talking, typing, planning, etc. Build small steps, then go back and edit if needed. You might just get further than you thought you would🙏🏻

🎶“A dream is a wish your heart makes…”💜
Ever since I was a little kid, I loved that song and sentiment. I used to view dreams as wishes that maybe, just maaaaaaybe might come true…but now I know I have the POWER to see them HAPPEN!🙌🏻
This is a fun shirt based on my Mary Kay team leader’s team name that she has chosen for us, and I absolutely adore it! But the cool thing is, I get to see dreams come to life for me, for her, and for others I work with no matter what they want to achieve. It could be anything, from setting mini-goals to get a house painted, to coaching my team leader through gaining new team members, to helping someone start their own business. Our dreams are POSSIBLE…but are you ready to actually, step-by-step, plan out how? Taking that first step is scary. And guess what? You’re going to fail. Goodness knows I have. But focus in and take that step anyway. Because someday, those little steps cumulate into SUCCESS 🙌🏻🙏🏻

You might be thinking, “Eh, what’s the point of a goal-setting coach? Why would I EVER need an accountability coach when I can depend on my bff or [insert random task app] to remind to do stuff?”🤷🏼♀️

Here’s the thing—your bff (or other friend/acquaintance) will forget. They have their own stuff to worry about, so how can you expect them to keep track long-term of your intentions too?🤔

Apps…apps are only as good as what you put into them. And my guess is, if you’re already not successfully planning out your intentions and goals to achieve them, that lack of intentionality will be reflected back to you in your input to the app. Meaning, it won’t get you far.🤷🏼♀️

From dog mom🐾 to glammed up movie premiere🎥!👉🏻👉🏻SWIPE to see the GLAM-UP!
So last Friday was pretty awesome—it was the result of my first quarter 2022 goal-setting for my acting world, as well as my own lifestyle. Last year, I set some training goals for acting, and my first quarter goal was to book a movie or show. Setting the goal of booking something like that is not actually something I recommend, because you have no control over the casting process EXCEPT the materials (reel, headshots, resume) that you have, the training you take, and the work you put into the audition. But I chose to make that a goal anyway 😉 And thankfully, it was successful! I booked the role of MICHELLE in the movie TRAUMA, which had its premiere last Friday! It was so cool to see another piece that I got to work in up on the big screen. And even cooler to get to sign movie posters, hang out with the cast and crew, and celebrate our accomplishment. I remember telling Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, and James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) at GalaxyCon last year that I wanted to be on the other side of the table on day, just like them! And last Friday…I got to have a taste of that. Because of the work I put in, the intentionality of chasing my goals, and of course, the amazing glam-up provided by Mary Kay skincare and make-up💄. Talk about all my worlds colliding at once👏🏼🎉 I am so thankful to God and how is leading me, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
