8th Grade Families are invited to a Promotion Ceremony on Monday, June 8th at 9:30am in the Northwest High School Gymnasium to recognize all students! 🎓

Hello Viking families,

A few reminders for Monday:

All students will be taking their ELA/Reading End-of-Grade Test. Testing will last until approximately 1:00 p.m.

To help us maintain a quiet and orderly testing environment, we ask that families avoid early dismissals before 1:00 p.m.

Please make sure your child arrives on time and that their Chromebook is fully charged.

📚 Testing Tips for Parents:

Please note that the following items are not allowed in the testing environment:
• Phones, smart watches, smart glasses, smart…anything 🙂 (devices will be powered off and collected)
• Snacks — students are not permitted to eat during the test session, even during breaks
• Plastic water bottles only (no Starbucks drinks, stainless steel bottles, sodas, etc.)
• No hoods, hats, or blankets (students may wear hoodies or jackets, but hoods cannot be worn)

Please also:
• Ensure your child arrives on time
• Charge Chromebooks fully tonight
• Have your child dress in layers, as temperatures vary throughout the building
