Last week I had the privilege of cleaning my late Mawmaw’s formal dining room chairs. You know- from the “adult table” 🥹
I am particularly fond of cleaning sentimental pieces because of the memories and emotions tied to upholstery and rugs that get passed down through the generations. It’s an honor to be a part of that story. ❤️

March is always full of conferences 🫣 and this past week was no different- I learned a lot about business (aka “numbers” 🙈), reconnected with beautiful old friends, and heard a wonderful presentation from my friends at - I love that they nerd out over furniture restoration like we do over rugs at 🫶

My client’s kid made art in the velvet. Easy to correct: Think of it like a chalk board - brush it away with a dry microfiber towel and start again. ❤️
