Thank you so much for getting students to school on time this week for testing. We will continue needing your help this week.

Monday, June 1st : 2nd Graders will be participating in Learn to Swim and we will continue testing for some 3rd-5th graders.

Tuesday, June 2nd: 5th Grade Science EOG

Wednesday-Friday: EOG Retesting for students.

Friday, June 5th: Kindergarten Promotion at 8am
5th Grade Promotion at 5pm
*Both will take place in our gym

Parents, today is the LAST day to apply for Reassignment if your child has been assigned to another school next school year. The link is provided on the gcs webpage under “Choose and Enroll”. Please note that with reassignment, bus transportation is NOT provided!

We are looking forward to celebrating our students’ accomplishments this school year with our awards.

Monday, May 25th: No School in Observance of Memorial Day
Tuesday, May 26th: Last day to volunteer to Proctor for testing

Thursday, May 28th: 3rd-5th Grade Students will be taking their Reading EOG
Friday, May 29th: 3rd-5th Grade students will be taking their Math EOG.

**For both Thursday and Friday, 3rd-5th Grade classes that have perfect attendance will receive freeze pops.

June 3rd-5th: EOG Re-Takes

🎸🎼 Friday, 5/22: 3rd Grade Parent Meeting at 4pm; PTO 3-5 Dance; 3rd Grade Parent Meeting @ 4pm; Tattoo-a-Staff Member; Spring Concert @ 4:45pm

The last day to pay for the dances is this Tuesday and the cost is $5.

🎯 We still need proctors!

| The Guilford County Schools reassignment window is now open. Families who wish for their student to transfer to another school can request reassignment for the 2026-2027 school year.

Reassignment requests are considered based on available space, transportation logistics and program availability.

⚠️ Due to the threat of rain and muddy field conditions FIELD DAYS will be postponed to next week.
