UNCG Summer Music Camp

For Summer 2021, the UNCG Summer Music Camp will be taking on a slightly different look!

This year, we are pleased to offer half-day programs for students in brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion, and piano. Campers will attend sessions in either the morning or afternoon, depending on their current grade level. Strict COVID-19 protocols will be followed and enforced, including cleaning between sessions, social distancing, reduced capacity, and masking.

You don’t need to register in advance to attend the fair or the panels, and there is no cost to attend. The Summer Music Camp is pleased to announce the launch of our virtual series, Masterclasses at Home! Each instrument or musicianship class unit contains a set of videos and, in some cases, supplementary materials.

They cover a range of ability levels and topics such as breathing, film music, reed selection, play along duets, bow grip, auditioning, and much, much more.

While not a substitute for face-to-face camp, we offer these as a gift and hope that you will find them to be a valuable resource over the summer and throughout the coming year.
