Impact Journey School Impact Journey School is committed to educate exceptional children with excellence and provide services so that students can reach their highest potential!

We are an educational non-profit school dedicated to serving students with language and developmental disabilities from Preschool to 5th grade. We will provide individualized instruction to students who require a smaller, more structured setting in order to acquire new skills. We will utilize research based teaching methods, including Applied Behavioral Analysis, to address each child’s specific l

anguage, cognitive and social delays. We will develop intervention programs for each child based on data and utilize data to determine each child’s progress. We understand the importance of low teacher to student ratios, and will maintain a ratio of 1:3 in each classroom.

IJS will operate on a delayed schedule today, Thursday February 5th. Drop off will begin at 10:15am for ALL students. AfterSchool will be on regular schedule.

IJS will operate on a 1-hr delay tomorrow, Wednesday February 4th. We want to provide time for temperatures to get above freezing before the morning commute. Drop off for all students will begin at 9:00am. We will still have Chick-fil-A hot lunch tomorrow!

AfterSchool will end at 4:30pm to give our staff time to get home before the temps drop back below freezing. We realize that road conditions vary greatly depending on where you live, so please continue to make the best decision for your family!

Due to the continued icy conditions of neighborhood and secondary roads and the below freezing temperatures overnight and through most of the day tomorrow, IJS will be closed again tomorrow, Wednesday January 28th. This is never an easy decision but the safety of our staff and students are at the heart of this decision making process! Stay safe and warm!
