What an incredible day for the fourth annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Peconic Landing, organized by Alzheimer's Association Long Island Chapter!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, walked with us, volunteered, donated, and helped make this year’s event such a meaningful success. Together, this year’s Walk raised more than $126,000! We’re especially proud of the Peconic Landing team, which raised $9,700 for the cause.

Beginning with Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Community Programs This Week at Peconic Landing Highlight Healthy Aging

This Saturday’s fourth annual North Fork Walk to End Alzheimer’s is just one of numerous community programs highlighting healthy aging to be held at Peconic Landing in Greenport this week.

From Oct. 5 to Oct. 9, the senior community will also celebrate Active Aging Week with a week of free activities aimed at promoting healthy, active living at all ages.

Peconic Landing member Susie recently headed out off Orient and came back with quite the catch: two fluke measuring 23” and 21”! Just another day enjoying the waters of the North Fork, right in our backyard. 🌊

🎉 We are thrilled to welcome Michelle Harmon-Madsen as the newest member of Peconic Landing’s Board of Trustees. 🎉

Michelle is a marketing and commercial executive with extensive experience building businesses, developing strategic partnerships, and helping organizations navigate growth and transformation. She has served as Chief Marketing Officer at SponsorUnited and AccuWeather, and held senior leadership positions at FreshDirect, MediaVest, and other leading organizations.

Today, Michelle advises companies on brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, and developing new business opportunities. She brings a valuable combination of strategic thinking and commercial experience to the board.
