Happy 60th lap around the sun to my Aries mama! Growing up with our firey Aries mama we knew boundaries, were pushed to be our best, instilled with full confidence in our potential, and had a childhood full of adventure.

Cross one of us girls? Watch out that Mars ruled Aries came out full force (made a few people cry over injustices we faced). Domineering spirit, idealistic (perhaps not always realistic), Aries mamas want you to win.

As an Aries mama myself, I am facing the shadow side of Aries raising my more subtle, sensitive kiddos. Aries is not known for being emotionally receptive…have a problem? Solve it, there’s no room for victim mentality here. Have an issue? Speak up and advocate for yourself, no mind readers here.

Aries mamas raise independent kids with say yes attitudes. Grateful for the confidence, resilience instilling struggles, and fun times with my beautiful Aries mama. Happy birthday mama!

Feelin those exalted Venus in Pisces vibes. It’s been a long hiatus of discomfort for the planet of love.

Venus retrograde the original reference to the scandalous “40 days and 40 nights” December-February in harsh Capricorn, then our sweet planet was held hostage in besiegement with Saturn. But finally she has been released!

Venus in dreamy Pisces means sentimentalism, romanticism, devotion, and that everlasting kiss. Are you feeling it? What did Venus’ hiatus teach you about what you value in the no none sense time? How can you bring sweetness into your days?

My own Venus in Pisces, I find myself lost daydreaming, trying to piece together past stories of love, wanting to be surrounded by flowers, and linger in those long kisses with my lover.

Have you been told you’re “too much”?

I sure have with Aries Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and North Node. At our best Aries are energetic, confident, FUN, fearless, motivating, and passionate. A fire can draw people in with warmth…but too much and we can become a wildfire burning everyone and everything around us. Unchecked, Aries can be are all too familiar with taking up space, being filterless, abrasive, and headstrong.

The beauty of learning your chart is the ability to bring self-awareness to both the gifts and shadow side of each sign (instead of using it as an excuse for your behavior, queue the Aries as***le). For Aries this means the lesson of temperance and balance (hello opposite Libra).

Aries asks us how we can be unabashedly ourselves without running right over others. This Aries Season take space for a free write with the prompt “I am” and see where it goes.

Happy western astrological new year! Aries catalyzes the entire zodiac, can you feel the momentum and passion?

The ram rules over our head, vision, and adrenal glands. The first new moon of the year occurs this Friday, April 1st at 12:24am in 11° Aries and sits conjunct both Mercury (communication) and Chiron (wounded warrior). Here we have the gifts of clear communication, healing, and projecting our vision into the cosmos.

I began the ritual of practicing meditations and creating a vision board on the Aries New Moon in 2014 during my teacher training. This potent practice has supported my visions over the years of becoming a mama, moving back home to Montana, a host of outdoor adventures, and the start of my own business. Talk about POWERFUL! This is the ideal moment for us to truly visualize what we want to call in, overcome, and experience this year.
