HIPPY stands for Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters. We serve 2-5 year olds & the program is FREE to qualifying families and we have many ways to qualify including, but not limited to, income. What we do is we meet with the parent/guardian once a week to go over a packet of preschool curriculum that the parent would do with the child. We also provide you with books, supplies, and anything else you need.

We have an available job position for a Spanish Speaking Home Visitor in the Rogers/Springdale area.

HIPPY Home Visitors support parents in becoming their child's first teacher by delivering weekly school readiness lessons to families of preschool-aged children. This role includes conducting home visits, building relationships with families, and guiding parents through educational activities to promote early childhood development.

Job Requirements:
-Must reside in or near the targeted community
-Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
-High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
-Experience working with young children and families
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Comfortable conducting weekly home visits
-Able to recruit families and engage parents in the program
-Basic computer skills (email, video calls, online data entry, etc.)
-Familiar with or willing to learn about local community resources
-Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
