Reminder that DEAD PERIOD for ALL SPORTS begins following this weekend. This means no coaching, observing, or contact between coach and players in sport involved. There is no practice, no open facilities, and no weight training/conditioning.

Pre-K and Kindergarten had a good time after reading The Three Little Pigs! 🐷📚 Students brought the story to life by acting it out with puppets and then became little engineers as they built the pigs’ houses to see which ones the wolf could blow down. Learning through stories and hands-on fun makes for a great day! 🐺🏠💕

Our 1st and 2nd grade students had a hands-on science adventure creating their own mini greenhouses! Using clear balloons, soil, water, and radish seeds, they designed a cozy environment for their plants to grow. The clear balloon walls and roof allowed sunlight to shine through, helping create the perfect greenhouse habitat.

After building their greenhouses, students celebrated with a delicious “Soil Pudding Cup” treat made with chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms. Learning has never been so much fun—or so tasty! 🌱🪱🍫

Summer Scholars had a great time at the library today attending the Nathan Bedford Forrest Animal Show! Students enjoyed learning about and seeing several amazing animals up close, including snakes, an owl, and a turtle. It was a fun and educational experience that everyone enjoyed! 🦉🐍🐢
