Become an Iowa Master Gardener! 🪏

Applications are open for the fall 2026 Garden Academy cohort, a required training for anyone who would like to become a Master Gardener. Garden Academy will be offered in 34 counties this fall, with a deadline to apply of Aug. 14. The session begins Aug. 31.

Our last summer camp was a fun success! At Grow and Know campers tested their knowledge about the natural world around them, got their hands dirty propitiating jade plants, we tested and learned about soil levels, created flower seed balls with shreds of paper and wildflower mix.

Pictures from Sprout and Grow summer camp! The campers had so much fun with our scavenger hunt, learning about worms and building their own grass seed caterpillar! (We even made our own in the office and it is taking off!)
