Where to begin? The beginning, I suppose... 1976. KISS Destroyer came into my life, via my older brother (of course). I did not know what a "Rock and Roll" band was. I literally did not know, or even comprehend, that what I held in my little kid hands was called an "album", or that there could even be MORE of these in the future from this band called "KISS". And little did I know that that album, that band, that guitar player with the billowing smoke looking like an ACTUAL real life SUPER GUITAR HERO would be the genesis, the very DNA, that would change my little world view forever. Thank you, Ace. Rest In Peace, Spaceman.

Told this story a million times, never gets old: After my father spent his life in the Army Special Forces and CIA, he became an Episcopalian minister. My brother and I, besides being acolytes (right?!) were enrolled in our church youth group. The topic came up about a field trip. We heard Ozzy was coming to town (Port Huron, MI., 1982?), so we shouted out when asked "OZZZZZYYYY!!!". Never thought we'd be taken seriously, though, till one day, we noticed tickets poking up from our Dad's vestment pockets. We said "Is that....?!", to which he said. "Yes.". And the rest is history... Thank you, Oz. You made a difference in this persons life.
