It has been after much prayer and consideration that I have decided to close Grace Kids Childcare. It appears as if the community need is not as great as our survey initially suggested. Our last day in operation will be Tuesday, November 22nd. We had already planned to be closed the remainder of that week in observance of Thanksgiving. Ms. Brooklyn and myself may occasionally be available for private baby sitting if a specific need arises. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will always love your babies and your families will remain in our prayers. We love you all.

This week we have been learning all about apples. We painted with the stems and leaves of apples off an actual tree. We had a taste test and decided which color of apples we like best. Green apples are the favored among us. We learned that Apple begins with the letter A and says aaaaa. We also learned to recognize red, green, and yellow. Our favorite activity was our science project where we learned that apples float and then exercised our fine muscles by trying to catch the floating apples with tongs. The apple theme has been fun.

Our last movie night will be this Friday evening. We will be watching Mr. Poppers Penguins about 830 PM. Let's have a hotdog roast beginning about 8 PM. I will provide hot dogs, buns, lemonade and popcorn. Please bring a side to share! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for this awesome movie on the lawn. Let's share some laughs and have a good time together! This is at God's Grace Cumberland Presbyterian Church, beside the Health Department in Greenfield, Mo.
