Wrapping up an incredible week of Rosie’s Girls with a visit to Tennessee College of Applied Technology Morristown!

Students explored Advanced Manufacturing programs along with many other hands-on career pathways offered through TCAT. From welding and industrial careers to technical certifications, the girls gained valuable insight into future opportunities available right here in our region.

A special thank you to Sara Harris for sharing her journey from Greeneville High School to TCAT’s welding program. Her story encouraged our freshmen and sophomores to pursue careers that match their passions and strengths.

Future-ready planning in action as these young ladies continue exploring careers in skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, and technical education! What's up at GHS

Building Skills. Creating Futures.

Today, the Rosie’s Girls participants powered through the electrical component of their collaboration lamp project! After welding the lamp bases yesterday, the girls installed wiring to create functional desk lamps complete with a phone charging dock.

During lunch, representatives from John Deere Power Products shared career opportunities and the growing need for skilled professionals in industrial maintenance and advanced manufacturing.

The day continued with a field trip to Titan Packaging where students toured the facility and explored box creation using measuring and production skills.

Hands-on experiences like these help prepare young women for future-ready careers in skilled trades, manufacturing, engineering, and industrial technology. Proud of these future leaders for stepping outside their comfort zones and building confidence through career exploration!

Tasty Tuesday just got a whole new meaning!

Our GCTA Culinary Arts students teamed up with the Army National Guard for an exciting MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) Challenge—and the results were incredible!

Students took standard MRE components and transformed them into creative, flavorful dishes that looked (and tasted!) anything but ordinary. From innovative plating to bold flavor combinations, they proved that with skill and imagination, anything can become gourmet.

Huge shoutout to our students for rising to the challenge and to our National Guard partner for bringing this unique experience to the classroom!
