It's time for another Who's Who Wednesday! Today we are introducing you to Catherine Pearson, the director of the Cocke/Hawkins Upward Bound grant. Catherine graduated from ETSU with a degree in biology and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in biomedical science at Quillen/ETSU. She loves all things outdoors and all types of nonfiction reading. She attributes a large part of where she is today to TRIO programs and knows they work! An ever-changing work environment that requires flexibility and adaptation is her favorite part of working in UB. Make sure to stop Catherine and ask her about her favorite board game this summer!

It's almost that time of year! Our 2025 Summer Academy is approaching quickly and we want to make sure you know who everybody is! So from now until the start of summer, we will be doing Who's Who Wednesday. First up is one of our directors, Erin Frizzelll! Erin runs our Upward Bound Heritage Grant here at Tusculum. Erin loves hiking and being outdoors. Her passion for working in UB comes from the change she gets to see in students. She earned her Bachelor's at Clemson, her Master's here at Tusculum, and is working on her Doctorate at UTK! Fittingly, her favorite part of UB is the summer academy! Make sure to look out for Erin in the summer and say hey!

TRIO Seniors in the Greene County area. Moose $1000.00 Scholarship Applications are NOW AVAILABLE through Your Guidance Counselors Office. MUST be Postmarked or Turned into the Lodge NO LATER THAN APRIL 4, 2025. If you are interested in this at all, please go see your guidance counselor.

On February 22nd, we will be attending TRIO day at UTK and participating in the scholar's bowl.
