Well look who we ran into at the AASA, The School Superintendents Association's National Conference on Education yesterday in 📍Nashville, TN as he was officially honored as the 2026 Ohio Superintendent of the Year!🤩🎊

Earlier this school year, Beavercreek City Schools Superintendent Paul Otten was awarded with the prestigious designation by the American Association of School Administrators and the Buckeye Association of School Administrators. We're so proud of Superintendent Otten and we're grateful to have his leadership right here in Greene County!

One of our favorite days... Global Day of Unplugging is right around the corner- 🌅sundown on March 6th to sundown on March 7th🌅 Locally led by the Greene County Disconnect2Connect (D2C) Coalition, , and Greene County Public Health, this marks the fourth year our Greene County community has committed to stepping away from screens for a day and leaning into real-life connection.

In support of this effort, GCESC Superintendent Terry Graves-Strieter recently spoke with members of the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Area Chamber of Commerce, sharing how GCESC serves students, families, and communities across Greene County. The Chamber is planning a fun walk in the morning on March 7th and Parks & Trails will host an Analog Mall at their site on Washington Mill Road in the afternoon that day. 💚

Calling all OTs, PTs, Speech Therapists, Mental Health Therapists, Intervention Specialists.. and beyond! We hope we'll see many of you at the upcoming Brain Health Symposium at the University of Dayton! From Brain Health Collective, this full-day symposium explores the whole picture of brain health.

Our GCESC educators and service providers have gained invaluable experience and knowledge from this event in its past iterations. Attendees can look forward to gaining practical insights, learning from diverse perspectives, and connecting with others committed to advancing brain health.
