Greendale High School's Award-Winning Theatre Department is proud to announce its 2026-2027 Theatre Season.

FALL PLAY -- OUR TOWN by Thornton Wilder. The classic American play depicts a village not unlike Greendale and follows two families and their experience with love and loss. November 5-7, 2026

WINTER MUSICAL -- A CHORUS LINE Teen Edition. This Pulitzer Prize-winning musical is a classic American Musical and features hit songs like "One", "What I Did For Love" and "I Hope I Get it" following an intense and emotional Broadway audition process. January 7-10, 2027.

SPRING MUSICAL -- DISNEY'S FROZEN. Arendelle comes to Greendale! This new Disney classic comes to the stage with all of your favorite characters -- Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff and the magical songs "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?", "In Summer", "Let it Go" and many more Broadway songs. We look forward to bringing this family event to Greendale in March of 2027. March 5-7, 11-13, 2027.

Auditions for the Fall/Winter shows will be August 23-26 and August 30, 2026.
Auditions for the Spring show will be in October TBA.

Jerry Awards Day for GHS Theatre! So proud to have 7 individual students performing and our Outstanding Musical Performing for ALICE BY HEART.
There are 2 Jerry Awards Shows now.
At the 3:30 pm show will be Fiona, Camden, Lucy, and Nora and Chloe.
At the 7:00 pm show will be Rozalyn, Chloe, Lucy, Clara, and the cast of ALICE BY HEART.
If you're interested in watching, you can get a streaming 'ticket' on the Overture Center website and find Jerry Awards tickets.

GMS Musical TONIGHT! After a GREAT opening night Wednesday, please join us Thursday, May 14 at 6:00 pm at the GHS auditorium for HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. 70 middle school students - cast and crew- thrilled the audience Wednesday night. Come join us!
Show is 6:00 pm, 65 minutes long, fun for the entire family. All seating is General Admission and a $5 donation is suggested.

Greendale Theatre is honored to receive 12 Jerry Awards for our 2025-2026 season including OUTSTANDING MUSICAL for ALICE BY HEART. We are grateful to the Jerry Awards for this amazing statewide program and look forward to representing Greendale with the other award winners at the Jerry Awards show on Sunday, June 7.

Congratulations to GHS Theatre and its Spring Musical CHICAGO:TEEN EDITION for 14 Jerry Award Nominations including OUTSTANDING MUSICAL. Congrats to all students, cast, crew, and production team. Along with our Winter Musical, ALICE BY HEART, Greendale was nominated for 26 awards! Winners will be announced in early May and the awards show is June 7, 2026 at the Overture Center in Madison.

SHOW WEEK for CHICAGO at Greendale High School. Show previews Thursday at 6:30 for Parents and Families and GHS Students and opens FRIDAY the 13th (!) at 7:00 pm.
