The Prindle Institute for Ethics Creating exceptional ethics education experiences at DePauw and beyond since 2007.

As one of the largest collegiate ethics institutes in the country, The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics is committed to helping students sort out and communicate their values in order to better their lives and the communities they live in by providing a variety of enriching and engaging ethics education materials for educators. The Prindle Institute sets students on the path to effective leadership by developing their capacity for moral reasoning in workshops, digital lessons, and other resources for the classroom.

Sip, snack, celebrate! Sippindippity will be at our Opening Day Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 10, with fizzy pops, fresh-squeezed lemonade, hot chocolate, lollicakes, dippie pies and more.

Treats are for sale during the celebration, noon-4 p.m., at the Prindle Institute. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Eighteen teams from colleges and universities across the country will meet on Saturday, November 7, for the 2026 IEBOnline Regional Competition, hosted by the Prindle Institute for Ethics. Swipe through to see who’s competing.

IEBOnline expands access to the APPE Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl for teams that prefer an online format or face barriers to travel. Across three preliminary rounds, a semifinal, and a championship match, students will take on real-world moral questions through rigorous, good-faith discussion.

The Championship Match and Awards Ceremony will be live streamed at prindleinstitute.org/live.
