Good morning,
We are emailing you this morning to confirm what many of you have already heard. After over 40 years of caring and teaching your children through our preschool we (First Baptist Church) have made the difficult decision to close the preschool. The month of May brought with it the completion of another successful school year but also with it, the resignation of our wonderful Preschool Director. Needing to address that change and the realization that we were still missing many staff members we had to take an intentional look at our ministry. We acknowledged that over the past few years it has become more and more difficult to maintain a consistent staff and keep positions filled. Additionally, we looked at several other variables, scenarios and options, but through many meetings, discussions, and an abundance of prayer, we have come to the decision and realization that the Lord is leading us to move on from the preschool ministry. If you have already paid any registration/enrollment fees or tuition, that money will be refunded to you. It is with both sadness and joy that we say, Thank you! Thank you for entrusting us with your children, whether for one year or many years through multiple children. We have loved having a part in their and your lives. May the Lord continue to bless you and your families.
