This year, 2026, celebrates 50 years since the first cohort of female athletes who benefited from Title IX.

. As of 5 pm today on June 30th, the GHS Legacy Fund has a balance of $14,547 in its account. Congrats on raising that within 6 months!

With a classmate's $3000 matching gift, this balance will soon be $17,547.

We need $25,000 to fully launch a scholarship fund. So we are about $7500 short.

If you haven't made a donation yet, please consider making your donation now. Maybe you can help us find a classmate or supporter who can help us reach our goals.

GHS Class of 1976 Scholarship Fund Update

Thank you to everyone who has helped support the GHS Class of 1976 Legacy Scholarship Fund!

Because of your generosity, we've now received $13,853 in donations, bringing the Fund balance today to $14,656—more than 54% of our $27,000 goal.

Our $3,000 Matching Gift Challenge is nearly complete. We've raised $2,453, leaving just $547 to unlock the entire match before June 30.

Every contribution—whether $19.76, $197.60, or $1,976—helps us move closer to launching our first scholarship for a Greencastle High School Class of 2027 graduate pursuing vocational, technical, or trade education.

As we celebrate the 50th Reunion of the Greencastle High School Class of 1976, we've spent time looking back on wonderful memories and lifelong friendships. Thank you for such a fun celebration! But we're also celebrating in another meaningful way—by paying it forward in a small way to future GHS Graduates.

Together, we've created the GHS Class of 1976 Legacy Scholarship Fund to help future Tigers pursue careers in the skilled trades, technical education, apprenticeships, and community college with a commitment to living in Putnam County.

More than 25 of our classmates have already made a donation or supported our silent auction. Thank you!

Because of your generosity, our scholarship fund today has grown to $14,047.

Our goal is to reach $25,000 by June 30 so we can award our first scholarship to a member of the GHS Class of 2027 next May.

Even better, every donation made by June 30, 2026, will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $3,000, thanks to a generous classmate.

Hi all (). Scott K here. If you attended reunion, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

It was great to see everyone there. If you weren’t able to make it, you were missed.

In this age of phones with cameras, I know a lot of photos were taken at reunion. We will post photos from our “official” photographer, Don Thompson, but we would also love to see as many of your photos as you wish to share. (And if you weren’t at reunion but have photos you wish to share, please do so.)

You should have received an email with instructions for how to upload and view photos in the gallery, but in case you didn’t, please DM me here or send an email to [email protected] and I’ll send you the instructions.

I’m deliberately not posting the instructions here to try to maintain the privacy of the gallery as best I can.
