🍎➕ Kindergarten is learning addition with a fun activity called “Shake and Spill”! 🎲💚
Our little mathematicians are learning the basics of addition by putting together two groups to find the total. They shake, spill, count, and add while building a strong foundation for future math skills! We love learning through hands-on activities!

🌧️ Weather Scientists at Work! 🌦️
3rd graders became meteorologists! They made their own rain gauges to help them measure how much rain falls. ☔️📏

This hands-on activity helped us kick off their new weather unit, where we’ll be learning about weather patterns, precipitation, temperature, wind, and the tools meteorologists use to collect weather data.🌧️⛅️☀️

🥪👽 Making PB&Js for an ALIEN?! 👽🥪

Our 4th grade students put their descriptive writing skills to the test with a fun, hands-on lesson that showed just how important DETAILS really are!

Using their MAMM (make a moment magical) writing technique and the reminder to “Stretch It OUT and Stay in Order,” students focused on two important writing skills:

✏️ Elaboration: Adding meaningful details that help readers visualize exactly what is happening.

✏️ Sequential Order: Organizing events in the order they happen and using transition words to guide readers through each step.

What better way to practice these skills than explaining how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to an alien who has never made one before?! 🛸
