⚾ NEW BASEBALL INSTRUCTOR AT APEX! ⚾
We’re excited to welcome Jeff Chick Hart to APEX Athletics of Greenbrier as a baseball instructor! Jeff brings a tremendous amount of playing and coaching experience and will begin offering small-group baseball lessons on Wednesdays starting September 2nd.
Jeff’s baseball background includes:
* Played baseball at Greenbrier High School
* Played pitcher and infield at UCA from 1985–1988
* Drafted by the San Diego Padres in 1988 as a pitcher
* Played three years of Minor League Baseball
* Returned to UCA and spent two years volunteering/coaching
* Restarted the University of the Ozarks baseball program as Head Coach in 1991
* Coached baseball and football at Greenbrier, including serving as pitching and infield coach
* Worked several baseball camps at the University of Arkansas with legendary Razorback Coach Norm DeBriyn
* Years of experience providing pitching instruction
⚾ WEDNESDAY LESSONS
Lessons begin Wednesday, September 2nd and are limited to 2 athletes per one-hour session.
4:00–5:00 PM — BOOKED
5:10–6:10 PM — 1 SPOT LEFT (10 or 11-year-old)
6:20–7:20 PM — AVAILABLE
7:30–8:30 PM — AVAILABLE
💲 $60 per athlete / session
Jeff prefers pairing athletes who are the same or similar ages so he can tailor each session appropriately.
While the primary focus is pitching, athletes training regularly can also work on hitting, infield and outfield skills. For example, an athlete training four times per month could spend three sessions on pitching and use the fourth for another area of development.
