Warming Stations are available throughout the county.❄️🌨️☃️

In response to the ongoing snow emergency, icy conditions and dangerously low temperatures, The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George’s County will open emergency warming centers to provide residents with safe, heated spaces.

M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County’s operating procedures activate warming centers during business hours when the Department is open. Under the current weather conditions, the Department is opening designated emergency warming centers for individuals and families without heat, experiencing homelessness, or otherwise in need of shelter during the storm.

Emergency Warming Centers Open on Sunday and Monday, January 25-26:
❄️ Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex (8 am-6 pm)
❄️ Suitland Community Center (8 am-6 pm)
❄️Rollingcrest-Chillum Community Center (24- hours (until further notice))

M-NCPPC, Prince George's County's commitment to People First, Purpose Always remains our focus as we place emphasis on service excellence and the safety of the County residents, patrons of the facilities, and employees.

Today’s annual Teacher’s Holiday Luncheon was enjoyed by all. The staff feasted on charbroiled chicken and sides from Pollo Cabana - Charcoal Rotisserie Grill. A fully stocked hot cocoa and dessert bar was also provided.

This year, courtesy of a few generous donors, we raffled off various gifts cards, treat towers and gift sets. Mini Bath and Body Works sanitizers were also gifted to all.

On behalf of the GES PTA, I would like to thank our members and parents for volunteering their time and $$$. Your support is GREATLY appreciated.
